When I was a boy, it was my favorite field on the farm - the way the land laid, its small stones and rich soil - it just felt right to me. It was near to the house and barn and never felt lonely, even when I was alone. It's been out of production for decades and today we just finished prepping it for planting next week. I stepped away for a minute to feel the soil in my hands and get to know it again. Amazing. Special thanks to Nate for grabbing this shot.
